Stayed at a cheap hostel, close to rowdy nightlife and stinky fish market. Had the pleasure of storing my luggage and enjoying the free Wi-Fi. Found myself wandering aimlessly due to different addresses, but hey, who needs clear directions anyway?

Stayed in a lovely district, close to the fish market and wild Reeperbahn. Had fun at St Pauli Piers and enjoyed the free parking. WiFi was available.sometimes.

The bed was uncomfortable, with a noticeable gap between the two single beds that made it awkward for couples. The shower was also a letdown, with a low shower head that made it difficult to stand under.

Wow, the quadruple room at Paulibude was awesome! The private bathroom with the shower was so convenient for our family. And having a wash basin in every room was a nice touch. We felt fully comfortable and relaxed in our cozy room.

Some people may like it, but we personally found the size of the room a bit small for a family with two small kids.
